Deep Tissue Massage…
Deep Tissue Massage is a type of massage aimed at at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure is more intense. It’s a more focused type of massage that works to release chronic muscle tension or knots also known as adhesions.

This massage helps to prepare for an easier delivery. It helps relieve lower back pain. The leg massage helps to control varicose veins. Abdominal massage helps to minimize stretch marks. Pregnancy massage soothes the nervous system, creating a sense of well being, and helps with sleeping more soundly. It also increases circulation, enhancing blood flow to the placenta.

Reflexology…
Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving placing pressure to the feet and hands with specific thumb finger and hand techniques. It’s based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work affects a physical change.

This is a revitalizing upper body massage focusing on key areas to relieve tension and ease the muscles. This massage relieves stress, migraine headaches, and sinus congestion.

Hot Stone Massage…
Hot Stone Massage was developed in Japan. Since Japan is actively volcanic, many bath houses were built at hot springs. Stones would be heated in the hot water and placed on the back, chest, feet and shoulders. The heat from the stones was found to be physically and mentally therapeutic.The stones create “still points” that draw the mind into a meditative state. The heat from the stones is relaxing and loosens joints and ligaments

Foot and Leg Therapy…
This relaxing treatment begins with warm towels applied to legs and feet. A rejuvenating scrub exfoliates and smooths, followed by a relaxing massage to the legs and feet. Hot towel wrappings are applied for a relaxing period followed by a Bio-freeze therapy, ending in a stimulating sensation.

Cupping is an ancient healing therapy that some people use to ease pain. Suction from cupping draws fluid into the treated area. It sends more blood to the area to stimulate the natural healing process.  It also aids in clearing the pores and releasing toxins.
