Lisa Ruley - Owner of Salon Bliss 
Lisa has over two decades of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career in the industry as a nail technician and continues to service some of her original, loyal clients. Lisa is a graduate of Carthage College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Lisa loves the salon atmosphere and especially loves what Salon Bliss stands for... Beauty, Love, Integrity, Serenity and Sharing. She enjoys giving back to the community by involving her salon in events such as Relay for Life and the Gurnee Days Parade. Lisa feels education is the core of success and consistently encourages her staff to further educate themselves in the industry. She is constantly thinking of ways to grow and promote Salon Bliss. Lisa always welcomes any questions, comments or suggestions.

Amanda - Stylist
Amanda graduated from Pivot Point as one of the most highly recommended and sought after stylists. She is indeed a hair “artist” with an eye for detail. She specializes in ethnic hair care and design, hair cutting, and loves doing up-dos! Amanda is very talented in working with all hair textures as well!

Beth - Nail Tech & Stylist
Beth has been through rigorous training and continues to keep up on the latest beauty trends and techniques. Beth is an expert in color and excels at creating beautiful up-dos. She is very precise in everything she does and is very passionate about the beauty industry.

Bridgit - Nail Tech, Stylist & Eyelash Extension Artist
Bridgit received her education for the Vici Aveda Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She loves to keep her skills up to date by attending educational classes whenever possible. Bridgit really enjoys coloring, foiling and cutting. Bridgit is trained in manicures and pedicures as well.

Brittany - Nail Tech & Stylist
Brittany received her education from the Cosmetology and Spa Institute and also from the Lake County Technology Campus. Brittany has always shown a passion for this industry. She specializes in hair care, manicures and pedicures.

Cassie - Stylist
Cassie graduated from the Cosmetology and Spa Institute in McHenry, Illinois in 2002. She enjoys continuing her education whenever she can to keep up with the latest trends. She recently went to New York City and took Redken color education classes and really enjoyed learning some new techniques. She specializes in foiling, and enjoys working with all hair types, especially long hair.

Cathy - Stylist
Cathy received her education from the Cosmetology Institute in McHenry, Illinois where she specialized in Pivot Point Training. She has been in the salon industry for over two decades, and was a former salon owner for one of them. She has had extensive, continuing education for hair coloring, and has received a master's certificate for hair designing of all ages. She specializes in hair cutting, hair coloring, permanent waves, facial waxing, and formal up-dos for all special occasions. Cathy loves her profession and her clients!

Clarissa - Nail Tech & Stylist
Clarissa obtained her cosmetology license in 1997 and then went through an advanced training program at Pivot Point Beauty Academy. She started her career at a full service salon where she excelled in hair cutting, styling, color and up-dos/wedding styles. Manicures and pedicures are also services she enjoys doing. Clarissa has a special talent for up-dos, so prom and wedding season is her favorite time of the year. Learning about new products and styles is important to Clarissa in order to keep her clients happy and looking their best!

Dawn - Nails, Stylist & Make-up Artist
Dawn was trained at the College of Lake County’s technology campus, and has also taken Pivot Point training. She set the record for the fastest time ever taking the Cosmetology State Board Exam. Dawn was a professional nail tech and make-up artist at age sixteen. She is certified in Great Lengths Hair Extensions and trained in many different color lines. She is constantly taking continuing education classes. Dawn is extremely aware of all new and modern trends. She is incredibly talented with short hairstyles, bridal styles and avantguard make-up and hair. She is referred to as the up-do queen. Dawn loves doing foil placements and is highly trained in product knowledge.

Deb - Massage Therapist
Deb graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. She has taken continued education to keep up with clinical changes regarding massage and pathology. She specializes in pregnancy massages, Rieki, Swedish relaxation, sports massage and pain management. Deb is a very clinical massage therapist, who takes pride in her career.

Holly - Stylist, Nail Tech, Make-up Artist & Esthetician
Holly graduated from Cosmetology and Spa Institute in McHenry, Illinois in 2003. She enjoys doing all aspects of hair care, and specializes in thermal straightening. She loves learning new techniques and keeping up with her education. Holly also enjoys doing manicure and pedicure services as well. In the near future she plans on taking on skin care and has an education background with the Bio-elements skin care line.

Jamie - Stylist
Jamie graduated from the Cosmetology & Spa Institute in McHenry, Illinois. While Jamie attended cosmetology school, she worked at Salon Bliss shampooing. She continues to further her education by taking technical and motivational classes. Jamie’s strong points are color, highlights, and hair cutting.

Jean - Stylist
Jean has been in the beauty industry for more than two decades. She is in charge of education at Salon Bliss. She has had extensive coloring and cutting training with some of the top educators in the industry. Jean continues her education to keep up with the latest trends. Her favorite aspect of hair design is coloring hair. She also does a lot of razor cutting. One of Jean’s strongest points is being able to work well with curly hair. She loves all aspects of hair dressing.

Jenna - Stylist
Jenna attended Lake County Tech Campus beauty school during her junior and senior year of high school. She graduated from beauty school in 2002 and continues her education by attending classes whenever possible. She is very interested in learning new techniques and incorporating them into her work at Salon Bliss. Jenna is very versatile with her work; she is capable of creating a conservative, sleek look as well as a more extreme, trendy style. Jenna helps her clients with at-home styling so they look just as great when they style their own hair.

Jenifer - Nail Tech & Make-up Artist
Jenifer graduated from the College of Lake County technology campus with her degree in cosmetology. She has been working in the beauty industry for the past three years and looks forward to many years to come. Jennifer specializes in makeup applications and nail services with a passion for acrylic work and pedicures. She still continues her education to keep up with the latest trends and techniques. 

Katie - Esthetician
Katie received her education from the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness. She has earned her training in facials, waxing and make-up applications. She graduated with the highest GPA in her class. Her specialties are eyebrow designs and facials. Her main priority is continuing her education and keeping up to date with all of the latest trends and product knowledge.

Lisa L. - Stylist
Lisa has been in the salon business for over 30 years. She gained her education from Arington Academy of Beauty, John & Lewis School of Cosmetology and Pivot Point International. She worked as a representative for image and did stage work. Today, Lisa is still continuing her education by taking advanced training classes, attending International shows and taking private courses. She really enjoys working with problem hair which may be too thick or too thin. If you’ve been dissatisfied at previous salons, Lisa will make you happy.

Liz - Stylist
Liz graduated from the Cosmetology and Spa Institute in McHenry, Illinois in 2004. She really enjoys going to hair shows and keeping up with her education. Liz has a lot of interest in razor and textured hair cuts. She also really enjoys eyebrow waxing and foiling.

Maryellen - Esthetician & Nail Tech
Maryellen graduated in 1996 from the Illinois Nail Technician Academy and in 2002 graduated from the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness. Her specialties are facials, herbal body wraps and gel nail enhancements. Maryellen is constantly educating herself and was recently trained in a plastic surgery facility in advanced skin care techniques. Her knowledge of skin care and age management keep her clients young!

Molly - Stylist
Molly received her education from CSI in McHenry, Illinois. Her focus and her passion is hair color. While gaining her education, she attended quarterly coloring and haircutting classes to keep her skills updated, while offering her clients the latest hairtrend fashion. Molly really has an eye for what colors will look good on a person.

Nikki - Stylist
Nikki gained her education by attending the Cosmetology Spa Institute in McHenry, Illinois. She is a confident stylist who excels in many areas from coloring, cutting and facial waxing. Her special talents include men’s cuts and color. Nikki is also certified in Great Lengths Hair Extensions.

Rachel- Stylist & Nail Tech
Rachel graduated in 1997 at Cosmetology Careers Unlimited in Hibbing, MN. She was licensed in Illinois in 1999. Rachel has 10 years experience in this field and loves every minute of it. Her strong points are hair cutting, coloring and foiling.

Sarah - Nail Tech
Sarah attended ABC School of Nail Technology in Lake in the Hills, IL. Sarah has worked on over 500 clients throughout her career and hopes to work on thousands more. With a great attitude and a peaceful mindset, Sarah helps her clients relax and enjoy time for themselves. Pedicures and Gel Nails are Sarah’s areas of talent, although she takes satisfaction in all services the client chooses to receive.

Shannon - Massage Therapist
Shannon attended the Soma Institute in Chicago, the foremost school in the country for Clinical Massage Therapy. Shannon graduated with President’s Honors with over 750 hours of study and took additional classes at the Hawaiian Islands School of Massage where she learned advanced Lomi Lomi techniques. She is nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and licensed in Illinois. Shannon’s diagnostic training enables her to customize her treatment to your specific needs.

Sheila - Nail Tech
Sheila received her education at the College of Lake County Nail Tech program. She does all aspects of nail care: manicures, pedicures, and artificial enhancements. Her specialty is pedicures. Sheila's massage techniques and attention to detail keep her clients coming back.

Sigita - Esthetician
Sigita graduated from the Skin Care Institute in 2005. She thoroughly enjoys her career. Sigita has a very nurturing personality, which made her want to pursue a career in esthetics. She loves continuing her education as well keeping up with all of the latest techniques and trends. 

Tanja - Stylist & Makeup Artist
Tanja is an innovative stylist dedicated to making the ordinary extraordinary through vision and creative techniques. Her capacity for education exceeds everyone's expectations. She has worked on television, preparing hair and makeup for makeovers and talk shows on Wisconsin's Milwaukee Channel 5 WTMJ. Tanja specializes in the latest techniques in razor and clipper cutting on both men and women; razor layering on long hair, taming cowlicks, curly hair razoring, and clipper cutting on long hair. Clients regularly experience personalized haircuts and runway to reality looks. Tanja always makes sure her clients can easily reproduce those same styles at home. "It is time to make a statement!"

Tarin - Stylist
Tarin graduated from the Cosmotology and Spa Institute in Crystal Lake, Illinois in 2004. She continues to keep up with the latest techniques and trends in hair styling. Tarin excels in all areas of styling, but her specialty is color and highlighting. She loves nothing more than giving her clients that great look that they want and deserve. She really enjoys every aspect of this business.

Tracy - Stylist
Tracy graduated from the Cosmetology and Spa Institute. She is incredibly proud of this school because it teaches pivot point cutting techniques and specializes in color. She is very well educated and enjoys keeping up with the new trends. Tracy is competent in both classic styles and new techniques. She is certified in Great Length Hair Extensions, and really enjoys coloring. As an artist, she really enjoys creating new looks.

Wendy O. - Nail Tech
Wendy has been in the nail industry for over 20 years. She enjoys all facets of nail treatments. Her specialty is acrylic nails and pedicures.
