Lisa Ruley - Owner of Salon Bliss
Lisa has three decades of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career in the industry as a Nail Technician and continues to service some of her original, loyal clients. Lisa is a graduate of Carthage College where she earned her bachelor's degree in Marketing and Business Administration. Lisa loves the salon atmosphere and especially loves Salon Bliss mission statement... Beauty, Love, Integrity, Serenity and Sharing. She enjoys giving back to the community by involving her salon in events such as Relay for Life, Earth Day, Breast Cancer, and the Gurnee Days Parade. Lisa strongly feels education is the core of success and consistently encourages her staff to further educate themselves in the industry. She really enjoys coaching her staff to exceed in their career. She is constantly thinking of ways to grow and promote Salon Bliss. Also, she knows how important it is to reward their loyal clientele. They have a point program - Bliss Beauty Points, monthly website specials, weekly email offers, and much more. When Lisa is not at the salon she loves spending time with her husband and two sons! Lisa always welcomes any questions, comments or suggestions; she considers her clients and her staff like family. Alli
As the glue that holds everything together, our manager, Alli Koebbe, makes sure products are ordered, schedules are set, and even stands in as our trusted friend and counsel. She cares about furthering the employees education and careers by scheduling in and out of salon education. When not at the salon, Alli enjoys Cubs and Bears games and relaxing with friends and family! Salon Bliss would not be the same without her!
Opal
Opal is the best! Not only is Opal our "Mom" of the salon...she is a personal friend of the owner, Lisa Ruley, and was also Lisa's very first client when she started doing nails three decades ago! Opal is instrumental in the success of Salon Bliss! She gives an amazing shampoo, she orders everything for our stylist team to ensure that our clients receive an amazing service and is the best baker in town! She always makes sure their are delicious treats on our coffee bar that she has baked herself! And don't miss out at the Holidays when Opal truly out does herself with her Christmas cookies.
Amanda Fergen
